Not sure this quite fits your OP, but the other day a coworker was trying to say something looked warped, but said it looked "wopped". I remember using that term in the same way when I was younger but I haven't used it since I was much younger. And when he said it we both knew that it was weird to use it that way,but it took us a bit to realize it.
We grew up in different areas, but I just thought it was funny that we both grew up using the same term in the completely wrong way, especially since it's actually a slur.
Did anyone else grow up saying that? Not sure why we would both be using that term like that.

Raining “like a brown cow pissing on a flat rock”, but the context should give that away. I have no idea why it has to be a brown cow.
