I've always heard that the twin trait usually skips a generation.
It's only said that it skips a generation because the gene that is thought to cause fraternal twins Is carried by males but males can't have children...

Sorry, meant to upvote but missed and hit the downvote. But you are correct, identical twins are a completely random event of egg splitting after being fertilized. Fraternal twins can be genetic, not identical.

This makes no sense at all. What, the diet and exercise habits are magically the same as well making them complete physical matches? Granted, they look similar by the photo.

Identical Twins are genetically identical, not always physically identical. There can and usually are some physical differences especially as they get older and other factors play a role in appearance (eating/drinking habits, climate differences, etc...). I have identical twin daughters and one has a birthmark on her cheek, which should fade away in a few years but it definitely helps telling them apart.

They’ve said they do everything together, so yes they probably have the same habits. They’re also genetically the same, so their bodies will process those habits in the same way

Yeah, it's a foursome.
Congrats on the weird narcissistic sex.

And the genetic part only comes from the mother's side. It's the trait that causes hyperovulation (releasing more than one egg at a time). The man is gonna spray millions of sperm into the woman's guts regardless. But only one will make a baby if there's only one egg.

What is more likely however is will one set of parents or both have their own set of identical twins. Identical twins have a higher rate of breeding new identical twins. Therefore these sets of married identical twins have two identical twins partners, therefore they are twice as likely
That's false. Identical twins have nothing at all to do with genetics. Medical science does not have an answer for what causes identical twins. You're thinking about fraternal twins. Those have a genetic predisposition.

Chances are high for weird arse orgies in this one.

You're lucky. I have identical twin sons and they have no real distinguishing marks. It takes me a few seconds to figure out which baby I'm looking at.

Yeah, her having the mark on cheek definitely helps but only if you can see that side of her face. It didn’t show up until she was about 4 months old and hopefully won’t be there forever. It’s a flat round spot about the size of a dime and from what I’ve read, these types of spots generally disappear by 3-4 years old. They will be 2 yrs old in December, so we’ll see.

Imagine if two of them are found murdered and the other two run off together. Talk about a confusing crime scene.
