re: Identical Twin Brothers To Marry Identical Twin Sisters

The crazy thing is how will their children turn out? Technically both sets of parents will have the same genes, so it’s possible for them to have identical children (one child from one set of parents identical to one from the other set of parents). However this is still statistically highly unlikely
What is more likely however is will one set of parents or both have their own set of identical twins. Identical twins have a higher rate of breeding new identical twins. Therefore these sets of married identical twins have two identical twins partners, therefore they are twice as likely

I saw this exact same thing happen with a set of identical twin sisters I went to HS with. They married a set of identical twin brothers like two or three days after graduation and they all moved in together. That was 30 years ago. I lost touch with them years ago so I have no idea how it all worked out.

Why would they switch partners? The twins are identical. There’s nothing physically different about them unless they’ve had a cosmetic change or injury. Also they’ve been inseparable their entire lives, so it’s unlikely they have any significant behavior differences in the bedroom

If each couple had kids, the kids would be double-cousins and genetically siblings

Damn, that sounds like an awkward situation.
They had an Austrian emperor whose parents were double first cousins.

Leave it to the guy from Bama to be an expert on this sort of thing.

Obvious question. You think they ever switched partners?
i know they had to have talked about it for sure in a joking/maybe not joking manner between thew siblings
dont think the partners would dare bring it up though, that kinda talk can be some relationship ending stuff

They probably had children and those children probably moved to Michigan.

The couples will then share their reception on Saturday night before moving into their two-bedroom apartment to start their new lives.
How miserable are those husbands going to be when they have both a nagging wife and sister in law to deal with when one of them leaves a toilet seat up or doesnt empty the dishwasher

I've always heard that the twin trait usually skips a generation. That could be an old wive's tale though.

Maybe the other twin doesn’t mind licking the ol balloon knot

Is it really cheating if they have the same genes?
