Ok my wife has never cared to learn or have interest in football(the game I love so much). Here lately we are connecting in a lot of new ways and she has shown an interest in learning the game. I can tell her what I know but I thought it would be cool to buy her some kind of book on basics of football for women etc....just thought maybe you guys could throw me some advice..Thanks

Maybe there's one that isn't just for woman, but foreigners as well.

Best way to learn anything is to watch it with her. its not a hard game to learn. Maybe some of the penalties and OT rules might be a next level learning... but she will learn just sitting and watching.

Is she the type that would rather read about it first?

I've never met a man who learned about football from a fricking book. You just watch and learn... or you played.

Don't do it watching games with women is miserable. Was watching the Georgia game with SO and her friend and they were talking about fricking furniture while I am over there thinking to myself, "please shut the hell up Joe Burrow has the ball and no one gives a damn about furniture right now".

You’d think she’d know because football is a woman’s sport now. Real men hunt

Just tell her to read the Tiger Rant. There are many posters over there who are experts on football and much smarter than the coaches.
