maybe they were each in their own room and one heard the other calling for help and went in...ended up dead in the same bed?

Na, they were just drunk and laying in bed together calling the ex and passed out. College girls and high school do shite like that all time.
Remember, they had been friends since 6th grade. Wouldn't be anything new to them.

You need to look at the house layout. The 2nd floor had a ground level sliding door entrance.
Which was the primary entrance for visitors it seems. Front door had a code.

CNN: Police say the “targeted” information was a “miscommunication”
At this point, all of the suspects that the police have supposedly “cleared” should be back on the table.
Who knows, maybe they miscommunicated when they said they had cleared the suspects?

Late last night, a site had a picture said to be of the girl with the ex-boyfriend. By the time I tried to link it to here, it was gone from that site. He had a very distinctive look.
My mind keeps coming back to the dog, the dog who didn't bark as its mistress was murdered. Maybe I read too much Sherlock Holmes in high school, but the story "silver blaze" stuck with me for the straight forward logic that the dog didn't bark. "The Adventure of Silver Blaze " wiki

My roommate and I slept in the same bed more often than not when we were drunk and didn’t have a boyfriend over. We would fall asleep talking about the night or boys or whatever. Not unusual at all.

I’ve thought it was kind of odd how Kaylee’s family have been 1000% behind Jack from the start. Dude must have a rock solid alibi like someone was physically with him that night & knew where he was at 3am.
He’s been labeled as the “ex-boyfriend”, but they were still together. The mom said Kaylee just thought they needed a “break” & they were going to get back together… probably just the pressure of her about to graduate & move to Austin, TX.

With the new information that Maddie & Kaylee were found in the same room, you could assume the possibility that they were found in Maddie’s room.
The dog could have been sleeping in Kaylee’s room & never even saw the killer.
Of course the investigator’s already know all of this info.

I know everyone is enjoying theorizing what happened in this case in an effort to solve it.
I don't have a theory. But the thing it reminds me of is Ted Bundy and the Florida St Chi O house. This is probably the worst case scenario because without a real motive other than being a sick son of a bitch serial/spree killer will make it very difficult to solve.

and even named people who they believe could be suspects or say police should interview.
I believe I’ve said earlier in this thread that I am not down for this. Dragging people’s names through the mud and ruining their reputation is not cool.
Keep it to theorizing and harmless speculation about the facts of the case, but don’t accuse someone of murder, especially by name.
Edit: Also, knock it our with giving the police “tips”. If you don’t live in Moscow, you should have a very good reason for calling the tip line.

I suspect they do. TD.com has been on most legacy news sites at one time or another.

I don’t think it’s relevant info. The father probably shouldn’t have shared that either bc people will start assuming they had some lesbian thing going on.
I don’t think that’s the case at all
It seems pretty normal with college girls and late nights after drinking to fall asleep talking in same place especially after just trying to call the ex and will not be taken sexually.
The father seems like he has been a bit of a loose cannon lately after thinking cops started to hold back info believing they did not trust him to keep it to himself and may have over shared something that was held back to catch someone falsely confessing or catch someone knowing more than released. The dog might have been another item held back (not shared by father just held back), but I think it was seen and was known to have been at house when police arrived with many wondering and theorizing on the internet why it wasn’t mentioned at first forcing police to finally address it. I doubt anyone but killer and the cops (& others) in response & investigation saw that bedroom and knew those 2 were killed together.
Unless they were already asleep I would think the police also have more details from roommates about more stuff going on before murders in house with all of them around 2AM to maybe a little after and also some cell phone data or other internet usage giving them some more details about Ethan and Xana after leaving Sigma Chi Party that they are holding onto but who knows. I thought Kaylee’s sister first pushed the calls and texts before the cops which makes me hopeful the police know more about the others before murders than released. Also hope they are correct in not needing to release it as of now.
Problem is that the locals are bad at either giving out to much info in interviews like the interview the coroner did or giving out conflicting info between departments including initially the Mayor. They also appear to be poorly communicating with family at times leading family to release info in interviews and so on. I thought the state took over communications with press, but police and DA keep answering questions off the cuff and then having to issue statements.
On a different note way back at the beginning even before knowing whose bedroom was any of theirs in the house the attic door opening above area between bathroom and what ended up being entrance to Madison’s bedroom made me wonder if killer was already in house while everyone was out and hiding somewhere like in attic. I also watched too many shows and movies with bad things in attics.

Before yesterday, there were no reports of them being found in the same room. The only info was there were 2 victims on the 3rd floor (where there are 2 bedrooms) & they were found in their bed.
You would think the mother and the dad of the same victim would have the same information, but apparently not. There is a interview of Kaylee Goncalves mom discussing the killer possibly attending her funeral and in that article she was talking about the killer and how they went room, to room, to room killing them. From her comment she seems to be under the impression they were all in different rooms.

Yes, I’m sure that Kaylee’s Mom and Dad DO have the same information.
Last night was the first time the information was released by the father. When was the mother’s interview? A week ago? They could’ve been told to not release details then or maybe they recently found out.
