Can anyone post the video of him attending one of the vigils? A child of one of my friends showed me a TikTok (I don’t have) of him in the crowd at a vigil. It was chilling but I only saw it once.
I never heard this. Incredibly sinister and sadistic if true.

It’s probably a moot point because he was done the second he left dna at the crime scene. But people burning fires in the winter in Pennsylvania isn’t really a suspicious activity.
Or Idaho/Washington.
He should’ve never brought his cell phone, figured out other transportation, not been an idiot and leave the sheath, and then burn everything that day.
But he did none of that. Absolute dolt.

Not exactly pertinent to the case but I find it interesting that the agents surveilling his parents house in Pennsylvania were able to see all they were able to see,get trash bags out of neighbors trash cans, etc without arousing suspicion.
Wouldn't they just have to pose as the normal garbage pickup? Even if you know the usual guys you won't think twice about a different crew that close to the holidays.
Then they just have to somehow tag the garbage from the house they were targeting.

I wonder what he did with the knife. I assume that it's buried in BFE Idaho/Washington or buried in a river / stream bed under a pile of rocks in Idaho/Washington.

Gary Ridgway, Green River killer, was a volunteer on search teams combing the woods.
Sick people.

Awful lot of people in here seeming to lament the fact that he was “dumb” and isn’t getting away with it.
I guess that’s just people thinking they’d be smarter if they ever, umm, found themselves in such a situation.

It’s not lament, glad he was a moron and got caught. It’s just fascinating how stupid he was considering he’s book smart and premeditated/planned this murder for a long time.

Just for clarification. Xana was found on the floor. They didn't specify where Ethan was. Also, the other 2 girls they found in the bed were on the 3rd floor not second.
You're right. I got the floors mixed up.

You don't think law enforcement can easily pretend to be garbage men to take their garbage can out?

Geez. Those girls’ lives are going to be very hard.

No. I think it’s really hard to get away with murder these days (unless you’re a Clinton or one of their buddies.)
I do however think there are smarter things he could have done especially considering the fact this was his field of study.

I saw it; very chilling watching it knowing what we know now. My friend is basically following this case via TikTok.

The Daily Mail has him taking the family trash out at 4 a.m. wearing gloves and putting the trash in his parents' neighbors bin.
If we consider actions of a reasonable man, how many of us have no job, in winter, have taking the family trash out at 4a.m.. Wearing gloves? Maybe. Walking to a neighbor's trash bins? Unless his parents were behind on their payments to the collection company. LINK
Wearing surgical gloves? rachet up the unreasonable man rating.

I mean... it could be him. Or it could be about 1/8 of the rest of the population.

I just saw a few YouTube videos on it - it's tough to make out. I don't think you can definitively say that it was him. Also, I believe that the Affidavit said his cell-phone never registered again in Moscow after the 9:00AM drive by shortly following the murders. That said, he could have cut his phone off and/or left it at his apartment.

Yeh
A campfire somewhere
Think of all the remote places around Idaho and WA. Instead he drove around in circles near the crime scene then disposed of evidence in the trash if all places at his parents SIX WEEKS LATER after he had to have been wondering if he was being surveilled (the 2 back to back traffic stops)
He should have burned it all immediately that day in the middle of the woods

He was probably paranoid, and rightly so, after the two traffic stops in Indiana. The FBI and Idaho police were probably not happy that both of them happened if they weren't planned.

No i think it reads as though he turns it off in his car (not at his apartment) then it goes live again but not at his apartment
I got lost with the driving part. I didn’t really try too hard to follow along that part. I was convinced with the sheath
