I can’t imagine stabbing one of the victims 54 times and not being a bloody mess. But that’s just me.

Xana was on the floor in between the foot of her bed and door, so that’s likely where he got blood on his shoes. The 3d virtual tour is really helpful.

Which one has 54? I can’t remember

That's just a rumor though

Never mind it’s pretty swift at killing

why let him destroy more evidence by cleaning the car?
Virtually impossible to destroy all of the evidence.

You are right. I’ve read so much shite in the last couple of days. That stat was one of the first things I read and it has stuck in my brain.

I was thinking about the question about the lack of bloody footprints a few pages back and I think I have a possible explanation. At least 2 of the victims and possibly all 4 were stabbed in their bed. You have to assume that they were more than likely under blankets which would have soaked up a lot of the blood, but also blood would have to soak through the mattresses (which takes time) before pooling on the floor. If he is in and out of the rooms before any significant amount of blood is on the floor, then there is a good chance he doesn't track a significant amount of blood or any at all through the house. Blankets and bed linens could have also limited the amount of blood spatter on his clothes as well ensuring he wasn't a dripping bloody mess as he made his way out of the house and to his car.
Xana found on the floor. She also just received food, so her and Ethan were likely not in the bed, or at least not under the covers. Stabbing a living person that many times is going to cause quite a bit of blood splatter. I do agree that the two victims on the third floor may not have contributed as much if they were both killed while under the covers.
I just still find it incredibly unlikely that someone waking up in that house the next morning wouldn't immediately know that something very bad happened after a short walk around the house.

That was told to someone by a friend of a friend of a friend, who saw something suggesting it on YouTube. The same person that said the sheath was left underneath the dude, when it was left in a different room, next to a female.
My point is that somebody is hearing a cousin of good information, with the facts being changed slightly from the truth.

Yeah the Sheath got him regardless, but he sure did make it easy for them to collect dna from the trash.
Are you talking about the trash used in PA? That was his dad's trash and DNA, not his. They were able to link them because there was something like a 99.998% the DNA from the trash came from the father of the person whose DNA was on the sheath.

Can anyone post the video of him attending one of the vigils? A child of one of my friends showed me a TikTok (I don’t have) of him in the crowd at a vigil. It was chilling but I only saw it once.

I thought I read in the affidavit that he disposed of trash into multiple neighbor’s trash cans while cleaning out his car.
I assumed they had grabbed his dna, but if it was the father’s then I’m not sure why he wasted his time doing this.
Unless he didn’t know about genealogical dna

Just for clarification. Xana was found on the floor. They didn't specify where Ethan was. Also, the other 2 girls they found in the bed were on the 3rd floor not second.

that explains the blood seeping outside the house. Technically two victims (Xana & Ethan) were in the second floor bedroom to the left of the back patio entrance through the sliding doors.

Considering the demand of being a PHD student, while not impossible, it’s definitely not easy and does take a decent bit of intelligence to get in to.

I think they got video of him putting trash in other cans, but that trash was long gone by then and may or may not have been useable. The DNA that nabbed him was his dad's DNA from the trash in PA.

Ah, thanks for the clarification!
That’s why I was a bit confused

I'm pretty sure that's not the first time he cleaned his car 7 Weeks after the murder.

They collected what he put in neighbors cans. It's at the lab they said.

Not exactly pertinent to the case but I find it interesting that the agents surveilling his parents house in Pennsylvania were able to see all they were able to see,get trash bags out of neighbors trash cans, etc without arousing suspicion.
Looked like a reasonably affluent subdivision, probably Ring cameras around, dogs to tbark, etc.
Must have been some highly trained scout-sniper types.
Guess it’s also possible there were some trustworthy LEO officers living in neighborhood that served as a base of operations.
