re: 2021 Louisiana College Baseball Thread | Regional Finals - TroyHenley
All the balconies were full for the game yesterday. No matter who comes to town, that area will be packed. Would be a great spot to throw up a tent like some kids did for the Ark series....

re: Kamado/Ceramic grill recommendations - TroyHenley
I've had a Kamado Joe for almost 12 years now. Only thing I've done to it is replaced the gaskets. When I purchased it was cheaper than BGE and came with more accessories. The temp gauge was bigger, the "belly" or bottom half is fatter so it holds more charcoal, and the pull out ash tray were all re...

re: Celsius ratio - TroyHenley
Medium Rate is .085 oz/gallon or 2.4 grams/gallon. Multiply those numbers by 3 will get you what needs to go in each 3 gallon mix. A 3 gallon mix will cover 3,000 square feet. If you're just spot spraying just weeds and no blanket app, I would go with the heavy dose of .113 oz/gallon of water or ...

re: School me on Silverado 1500 3.0L duramax - TroyHenley
I wonder if the dealer wasn't using the correct DexosD 0W-20 oil? My manual specifically states not to use anything else. When I scheduled my first oil change the dealership didn't even have any in stock. Had to reschedule and wait for them to get some in. ...

re: School me on Silverado 1500 3.0L duramax - TroyHenley
I have a 2021 AT4 3.0 and love it. About 9,000 miles. No issues so far. Oil change cost about the same as my old truck. DEF refill fell in line with oil change. Good torque, quiet, very smooth shifting truck. I average 25-26 mpg and commute 60 miles a day. There are still a lot of unknowns about thi...

re: Recommend spot in Ruston - TroyHenley
Sundown has a nice patio and pretty good food. Beauvines for a good steak. Brister's or Badwolf for BBQ. Utility for pizza and local beers. RAW for sushi but i'm not sure they have opened back up for indoor dining. ...

re: Outdoor Kitchen: BGE vs Gas Grill - TroyHenley
I've had a Kamado Joe for 12 years and use it 2-3 times a week, no complaints at all. Having said that I'm building a built in flat top/grill combo from Camp Chef soon on my patio, and will have the Kamado Joe free standing. The camp chef griddle has a nicer look to it than the Blackstone I've seen,...

re: Bermuda taken over by clover - TroyHenley
The pre-emergent you just put out is for summer weeds that are just now germinating due to warmer ground temps, not what is showing up right now in your lawn. Buy some Ferti-lome weed free zone and it should do a good job of killing your broadleaf issue. It's safe on Bermuda....

re: Best Non Corn Deer Bait - TroyHenley
You're only getting downvotes because you act like what you're doing is superior to others. Everyone has different levels of skill, time, and energy they put into the outdoors. People who make and shoot their own recurve bows/arrows could say you're a lazy no skilled hunter as well. Technology in co...

re: High Level Lawn care advice - TroyHenley
Bermuda is a warm season grass. It will grow fast and strong in the summer and go dormant in the winter. TTTF is a cool season grass. It is completely different than Bermuda. It will grow best in spring/fall and will struggle some in the hottest parts of summer. As far as seeding goes. Once you ...

re: Dealing with Yard Moles - Solution? - TroyHenley
I've killed dozens. I find that the best traps that work are Victor Out O Sight mole traps (amazon has them). If you're serious about killing them, you'll need to constantly tamp down areas that have been messed up. You need to know basically on a daily basis where they are. Find long runs or straig...
