Thomas, I think you posted the wrong link.

Seems hard to believe there’s not a decent bit of blood somewhere in the house that was obvious from someone away that something happened.
According to the affidavit his vehicle is seen moving on Camera at 4:04 and then caught again leaving at 4:20. That doesn’t include the time he takes to walk into the house, clean up, etc.
He is caught driving by 3 times after 3:30am. Which is odd to me, why not just park down the street and wait it out. To me it sounds like he was emotional and unable to be patient, or it’s also possible he didn’t even have a victim picked out yet and was driving around looking for someone.

She could have also been drunk, or on something stronger. And she's a female, so God only knows her thinking when she's sober.
I don't think she's in on it, unless she didn't give a frick about being caught bc im pretty sure housemates are the first people they examine

I read that the charges were announced in order yesterday. First burglary, then the murder of M, K, E, and X in that order.

Cell phone pings put him in the neighborhood on August 21, 2022.
Can anyone confirm how accurate the pings are? This house is well under 1/2 mile from University of Idaho. They live in student housing area across the street from the school.
It’s very possible Kohberger was just cruising around looking for victims or just looking around Idaho st campus. Found them randomly.

From my recent google research. If its a GPS ping, they say about 9 feet. If they use cellular towers, its like a mile or less depending on a bunch of factors. Could be better, could be worse.

My understanding is they were cell phone tower pings from the past. So I don’t think they are very accurate.

Possible, I assume. But they were all inside by time he got there. Would be pretty ballsy to bust into a house, with what... 6 cars outside, and not have any idea what you were walking into carrying only a knife.
Just makes more sense that he had been watching them beforehand at least.

Certainly. But his cell phone records have him at his home in Pullman at 2am when they also got home in Moscow right? He left his home about 2:30am? So they were already home before he left his house. He wasn’t watching them all night, as far as we know he had no idea who was in the house and when they got home.
Grub hub was delivered at 4am. So the one thing it’s very possible he witnessed was the grub hub delivery. He was in the area during that. Makes me think maybe he just followed the grub hub order? Maybe he was just looking for a random victim and Xana with her delivery was the first?
ETA: I mean shite it was a Saturday night and these were college girls. Xana and her BF were at the sigma chi house partying less than a half mile away. That we know of, he had no idea who was home at 4am. If he knew where they lived, at 2am they could have all shacked up some where else.

He knew who they were so I doubt it was random.

You know this for a fact? Link? I’m curious. That I know of, there has not been a connection?

The knife (probably still in his right hand since he’s right handed
No way the car doesn’t produce more evidence or that knife is nearby the house or maybe both.

I think everyone is thinking way too much about the roommate. If I was up at 4 am in college getting food, it’s because I was blackout drinking. I seriously doubt she comprehended what was actually going on. She probably turned around and passed out face first on her bed. Consider herself lucky to be alive.

From news article: Kohberger, who was pursuing a PhD in criminal justice at Washington State University at the time of the killings, "cleaned his car, inside and outside, not missing an inch," according to the law enforcement source.”
This was observed by LE in Pennsylvania as they staked him out. He wore surgical gloves and put trash at 4am into various neighbors cans. Which of course the LE obtained and sent to crime lab. Gonna be an interesting trial. And I agree, no way he got everything, but he definitely tried.

Well his cell phone records did reveal he had been basically staking the residence out 12 times over a several month period. It’s safe to say he had some knowledge or connection to them.

She wasn’t up at 4 am getting food. That was one of the murder victims, not the survivor. The survivor said she was asleep and awoken by the commotion. Doesn’t mean she was sober, but she wasn’t up ordering food at 4 am.

Yep, its simple. Some people love to complicate things.

No they don’t. His cell records show he was ‘in the area 12 times’. The ‘area’ likely included half of university of Idaho’s campus.
I mean shite my cell phone records in college showed I passed by sorority row 4 times a day. He also passed by fraternity row every single one of those 12 times.
I could very well be wrong, but I have seen 0 conclusive evidence so far he had any previous dealings with anyone in this house.

We'll have to see, seems like most apps now want access to your location which means the gps in a phone is running constantly whether you want it to or not.

And do you live 10 miles away from the sorority? And go to a completely different university in another town?
Most of the times he was in the area were late into the night. You're making this too difficult. Look at everything so far. It's obvious there was a degree of stalking going on.
