interesting that he went back to the crime scene later that morning around 9:12am...perhaps he realized that he didn't have the sheath??? Regardless, he must have been in panic mode...

While it's all a crazy story what baffles me (aside from several things) is how this guy is so confident he will be exonerated. Especially after reading this affidavit. It was either 1000000% him or someone used his car, knife & cell phone

If the dude can afford a good attorney or good attorneys do the case for free or reduced he can walk. Remember OJ and Claus von Bulow. Though DNA evidence is much stronger now. The cell phone evidence is damning as well. But if he can afford Alan Dershowitz he could walk. After OJ walking nothing is impossible.

This couldn't be further from the OJ case. Dershowitz didn't get OJ acquitted, Rodney King and the LA riots got OJ acquitted

Yeah that too. I just don't get how he is so confident he would be exonerated

The affidavit appears to only be providing enough information to make the arrest. There are a lot of holes in the story that the investigators are still holding onto for the purpose on not tainting a jury.

The fact that he did not try to attack/kill the DM roommate is very puzzling as well as her not (from the affidavit) doing anything to check on what is going on with her roommates or calling police or others. I can't imagine her being involved but I am not going to rule anything on that out. What makes me more curious on this angle is that it was reported that when Kohlberg was arrested he asked if anyone else was arrested. I am not convicting DM but also would not be surprised if there is eventually a tie in.

A few observations I did take from the affidavit.

1. The two roommates on the 3rd floor were found dead in the same bed. This does not mean they were in the same bed when the killer found them. It sounds like Gonclaves put up a fight and she could have went to Mogens room.

2. Mogen may have been the first victim if the knife sheave was in her bed. Maybe Gonclaves went to her room to see what was going on or to put up a defense for her. ??

3. Sounds like Kernodle was coming out the bathroom or kitchen when she was confronted by the killer in her room. I cant think of why she would be crying and the killer saying he was there to help her if she did not already see what he did to her boyfriend or other roommates. Chapin was probably passed out in the bed.

4. Back to DM. It had to be a crazy scene house for her not to think anything she heard or saw that night was worthy of being a concern to see what was going on or call anyone. I am not buying frozen in fear because for that to be then she would have to know what was going on to have fear.

Could he have been worried about his dad possibly being arrested as an accomplice or aiding/abetting?

Either that or he went by the jerk off to the carnage he created the night before.

Pretty accurate I would guess because they take a picture of the food drop off in the app as I understand it.

The amount of energy he expelled in killing 4 people had to have left him totally exhausted. I'm sure he was looking to get out fast and had tunnel vision.

You know I'm usually Team Supa.

But Chicken has been doing his homework. His scenario seems most likely to me.

Means nothing, Gacy said almost the exact same thing when he was arrested.

"Who else do you have in the station?"

It's a ploy to plant seeds of potential reasonable doubt, he didn't know what was in the affidavit until last night at the absolute earliest.

Whatever her reasoning is, she has satisfied LEO's questions and was one of the first people cleared publicly.
She has satisfied multiple investigators, but many here keep speculating of her involvement. Why?
The affidavit likely omits some details that would make her look better.

Another thing I'm curious about is his reasoning for driving all over God's creation after the murders.

Going to ditch clothes and clean up before heading home???

Ethiopia is 40+ years into a famine.

Chickens are raised for food by humans.
