Some people have said Indiana Jones for fictional character in the ‘80s. And while he might be the greatest character from the ‘80s, I don’t think he exemplifies the ‘80s. Maybe that’s because the movies are set in the WWII era against the Nazis.

Some have mentioned Star Wars but I feel it’s shared pretty much equally between the ‘70s and ‘80s and still has a strong influence even today with the ST.

And I might would change my ‘80s movie from The Breakfast Club to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. But that’s a tough call. The Goonies has to be in there. E.T. and Gremlins as well.
