Had the opportunity to visit the 9/11 Museum in NYC a couple weeks ago.
There are photos there that most of the public has never seen before. Some were taken inside the WTC before the collapse, some were just outside among the rubble and smoke/dust.
It's a truly great experience, but it is absolutely heart wrenching

I was referring to my previous comment that was about my thoughts on that moment not specifically involving Bush's politics. I was saying that my opinion on how he handled the situation has nothing to do with politics so people like you wouldn't take it the wrong way.

I was more saying that a large amount of people associate the children's book with the entire situation surrounding him being informed of both attacks while continuing to play with the kids. I have no way of saying what is the right or wrong reaction when put in his shoes, but his reaction was widely criticized. It's also my opinion that an obscure children book about a goat belongs in a museum as prestigious as the Smithsonian.

Widely criticized?! By who? Run a quick google search and find out what those kids had to say about it looking back. He didn't cause a panic, he quickly finished and left to go handle business. I do not agree with all his policies, but to say his reaction was anything other than poised in the situation is asinine and completely biased against the man. If he was on a golf course and waited to finish a hole that would be one thing, finishing a 10 page book surrounded by kids is another.
