I'm sure there are plenty of illegal immigrants that are planning to shell out thousands of dollars and travel across the country to watch some American Football.
It’s so ignorant that you think that’s what this is about or that ticket holders are the only people traveling voluntarily or involuntarily to the area for Super Bowl week activities and the actual Super Bowl.
Besides this not being a ICE press release and just being an answer to a question from TMZ sports asking if ICE or really DHS would back off during Super Bowl week due to events in Minnesota, DHS including ICE have been working Super Bowls since it’s onset including U.S. Customs and Border Protection working Security, trafficking, intercepting counterfeit merchandise, scanning for contraband on people entering the stadium for the game, and enforcing flight restrictions around the stadium.
There is also the fact that illegals are already in the area pre Super Bowl. There has also been regular ICE enforcement already happening in the area pre Super Bowl which will not be stopping just because it’s Super Bowl.

They've been so well behaved in crowd control; why not turn the Super Bowl into a shooting range too?
Will anyone be breaking laws and physically obstructing and threatening law enforcement officers? Would that really be a shooting range then, or is this just typical leftist exaggeration for political theater and victimhood??
DHS including ICE have worked every Super Bowl since DHS was created along with its various components working Super Bowls before that. Did they have crowd control issues or turn all those Super Bowls into shooting ranges?

Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
But yall know who will be targeting. It's not the fans. There are no fans. Those ticket prices are not for your average person.

CNN had a poll and a majority of Americans favor removing all illegals from the U.S. Again, this was CNN.

Why would they be in Italy?

CNN stirring crap up by not including that Immigration and Customs Enforcement is more than ERO or that Homeland Security Investigations is different than illegal immigration enforcement or ERO.
quote:
ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations, a division of the agency, will serve “a security role” at the Olympics, a spokesperson from the US Department of Homeland Security confirmed to CNN Tuesday. “They don’t do immigration enforcement (operations) in a foreign country obviously,” the spokesperson added.
HSI is the primary investigative arm of DHS. Probably already has an office in Italy. It was initially called ICE Office of Investigations. It does probably need to be moved up a notch under DHS after it’s roll got expanded.
quote:
“ERO and HSI operate as two independent law enforcement agencies and have completely separate mission statements. HSI is focused on the disruption of transnational crime, whereas ERO is responsible for the apprehension, detention and removal of undocumented immigrants”
quote:
Approximately 6,000 HSI employees are special agents (criminal investigators), making it the second-largest investigative service in the United States, behind the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
HSI special agents investigate violations of more than 400 U.S. laws that threaten national security, including counter-proliferation; human smuggling and trafficking; weapons smuggling; narcotics smuggling and trafficking; human rights violations; transnational gang activity; financial crimes, including money laundering and bulk cash smuggling; cyber crime; child exploitation and sex tourism; trade crimes such as commercial fraud and intellectual property theft; smuggling of counterfeit pharmaceuticals and other merchandise; document and benefit fraud; the manufacturing, sale, and use of counterfeit immigration and identity documents; mass-marketing fraud; art theft; international cultural property and antiquities crimes; export enforcement and visa security. HSI agents can be requested to provide security for VIPs, and also augment the U.S. Secret Service during overtaxed times such as special security events and elections.
HSI was formerly known as the ICE Office of Investigations. HSI special agents are Series 1811 criminal investigators and have the statutory authority to enforce the Immigration and Nationality Act (Title 8), U.S. customs laws (Title 19), general federal crimes (Title 18), the Controlled Substances Act (Title 21), with approval from the Department of Justice, as well as Titles 5, 6, 12, 22, 26, 28, 31, 46, 49, and 50 of the U.S. Code.

If by bullshite you mean facts then yes I am.
Posted more later as well showing the group under the ICE umbrella that is actually involved in Super Bowl security is different agency than ERO operations. Border officers are under a different one in DHS as well.
