You really don’t think they will have a negative impact on maintaining strong borders and deporting illegals?

does he also promote arresting heads of construction companies who have long employed illegal immigrants?
I do.
the mere irony that this country was founded by immigrants and you all want to stop immigration is hilarious. built off the blood sweat and tears of immigrants and now we can't let anyone in.
pathetic.

Irrational fear from people who have completed the process to legally be in this country dont'cha think?
What if, heaven forbid, the government makes a mistake and gets the wrong person?
Trump’s admin already ignores courts on immigration when it feels doing so is correct. The overwhelming sentiment from the right is that due process shouldn’t be extended to immigration proceedings. Seems entirely reasonable for someone here lawfully to be worried that they might be mistaken for someone else, and then not be able to get the issue corrected before they’re wrongly deported.
I don’t know that I’d be hiding out at home if that were me… seems like that would defeat the purpose of moving here. But I hardly think it irrational to be worried that the government would mess up and then not timely fix its mistake.

yes, this lazy tired cope from Reddit is pathetic.
The irony claim only works if you ignore context entirely. The country wasn’t founded by people who snuck in, ignored the law, and demanded benefits on arrival. It was built by immigrants who came legally (by standards of the time), worked, assimilated, and didn’t insist the country change to accommodate them. get fricked.

Yeah. So fricking funny. What is wrong with yall? Legitimately.
I understand that the “Chance to do the funniest thing ever” is an internet trope but yeah I take no joy or humor in this.
I want people to come here legally. I want those here illegally to apply for citizenship and become legal. I want to stop the mass migrations over the southern border and regain control of our country’s borders and laws. I’m in favor of deporting illegals.
I still take no pleasure in the fact that legal and illegal Hispanics alike are terrified right now and many legal immigrants feel the need to carry around immigration documentation at all times.

Unfortunately that’s exactly it. There’s a segment of the right that clearly gets off to the cruelty. I firmly believe it’s a small minority, but it’s a loud one. And when the alternative just plays coy about the fact that they don’t want borders at all, it makes sense that normal people gamble on the loud minority and hope that the cruelty is just bluster.
I’m really disappointed with Democrats for surrendering this issue completely. Extremists on both sides synergistically advance each other while ruining things for normal people.

Mexicans, uppity blacks and uppity women are not the reason you have a low quality of life...thats on you.
Flooding the labor pool for jobs like painters, framers, concrete workers, and farm hands with people willing to live 10 to a single family home and work for the cash equivalent of $3-7/hour has certainly resulted in jobs Americans could be doing evaporating and Americans losing opportunities. This results in increased welfare dependency which has certainly driven a lower quality of life

So. You make a mistake you fix it as soon as possible.

The courts (liberal ones at least) ignore the Presidents authority.

Entering the country illegally is breaking federal law.
Progressive democrats purposely opened the boarders to make this as messy a problem as they could. The way to fix it it not to ignore the problem.
It's going to be ugly and it's going to hurt but fixing it is the right and responsible thing to do.
IMO those that created this problem should be deported too because they had a clear intent to undermine the safety of this country for their own political purposes.

You are right in one respect. Immigration is a result of a downstream issue. We've seen birth rates collapse for every American demographic. We have a political economy which is based on growth. What's going to happen is the same thing that happened in the UK after Brexit.

People who come over here by their own free will only to shite on the country.

That’s an odd whataboutism.
The folks I mentioned were in the last step of the legal naturalization process, had paid the fees, etc. What good does it serve our country that they were denied the final step in the process?
