Nitrous oxide isn’t illegal to purchase since it does have practical applications, such as adding foamy texture to whipped cream.

And also to do this:

fricking hippie crack.

I went to a hippie art festival near Austin several years ago and after all of the prep and art installation and logistical work, etc. they did to get and be there, all they did the whole time was sit around and do whippets.

That place is a cesspool of violent crime, organized theft rings, vagrancy, and property damage and this is what the SFPD is concerned with.

Can’t think of a better example of that arse backwards shithole.

just got home from 5 days in Saf for the shows at Golden Gate Park. We saw none of what you’ve described and we went all over. We found SF to be well run, relatively clean, friendly, welcoming and beautiful…as always

let us know what parts of town you saw filth, violence and mayhem in

I'm glad you didn't get swept up in Operation Whippets! How were the shows?

Saw half a dozen piles of human shite on Market street along with a bunch of needles, saw 3 cars on Embarcadero with windows smashed and auto glass in every crack of the sidewalk, saw several fights in bum encampments near city hall, saw 3 bums passed out on heroin in Lowe Haight, and saw a group of yutes running out of a store after stealing something out a a shop near the Castro. Even had my car broken into in Oakland. Is that good enough?

I’ve been visiting family there 1-3 times a year for the last 10+ years, so I don’t really give two fricks about your experience in Monterey.

You can still effectively use a nearly empty N2O bottle to flash cool a six pack of beer in a pinch though.

Worked with a guy who did a couple tours in Nam. His second tour he was in accounting and handled payroll. Said there was a safe with millions of dollars in it. They had to keep it under guard not because of the money but because GIs would steal the CO2 fire extinguishers next to it to chill their beer

incredible
opening 75 minute sets by billy strings, Sturgill Simpson and Trey Anastasio, then dead and company with sit ins from all. Probably the best festival experience I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of those. SF is wonderful we’ve been many times before and will go many times again
