Sounds like a new drinking game. Find the oldest shittiest one you can. Antique stores are full of them. Ice down a case and finish before they get hot. We have it too damned easy.

Did I miss a huge spike in the price of ice? Yes, I've got a Yeti, and to take it anywhere outside the bed of my truck or the deck of my boat, I just about need one of those $100 rolling cart deals because it's so damn heavy. Plus, I've got to keep a flathead screwdriver nearby when it gets vacuum locked.
We recently spent 3 days partying at the camp and on the water. A little $15 igloo from the local dollar store kept all the beer cold and was easy to transport from place to place. Did the ice melt? Yes like it has ever since ice was invented, but a new bag was like only $1-$2. You would need to buy more than 180 bags of ice to justify the Yeti. So unless ice recently got crazy insane expensive, I think I can spend my money on other useless overpriced things.
Now, if I was without electricity, and trying to keep food cold, etc., yes the Yeti (or all those other expensive chests) are perfect for that application.

Ice would have lasted longer in all of them if they had left them closed and just used a temperature probe to detect when the ice was melted.

So the best value was the styrofoam? money x duration?
Also, they were left in full sun. The coleman was a black cooler and the Yeti was beige and the other others were white. Do they make a white yeti?

I don't get the whole yeti cooler thing? Why does anyone need to keep beer cold for longer than like a day or two?
