Man if you search Bonita Springs on facebook, you get a bunch of really bad photos and videos. If any one of you know Liz in real life, I'd try to reach her. That shite looks like a literal bomb went off there.

Flew In Ian this morning.
Absolutely fricked up radar return from inside the eye. Got our asses kicked on the way out. Bar none roughest flight of my career. Ian was angry.
Me in the right seat flying, looks like daytime; It was actually a lightning strike. Pic was taken around 3am.

So was that you asking if everyone was alright in the back on the video?

No, that was from the NOAA P-3.
We were talking to them on the radio. They got rocked worse than we did.
NOAA are cowboys in our(my) opinion. They do some CRAZY shite. We actually went in for a fourth pass and they bugged out. Which is wild.

Did your plane have Chita Craft on it from KHOU? She rode on one of the flights today.

Maybe, I know we had FOX, AccuWheather, TeleMundo, and Weather Channel on board today. Lost track after that.
The guy I was flying with did some interviews. Think he was on Cavuto this afternoon. I avoid the media like the plague.

Don't give me any credit. If I'd known how bad that was going to be, I'd have stayed my arse in bed
Developed storms aren't usually this bad. It was rapidly intensifying while we were on station. We saw Cat 5 winds at some points this morning, but we don't classify them, we just get the data.

I passed out around 5 pm yesterday since I'm 7 hours ahead. I lost large deck chairs that were bolted to my dock...that's how strong the winds were.
Is there a good summary of what happened last night anywhere? I have multiple properties that were right in the eye wall (including Venice island)Island. Have no idea what type of flooding/damage happened in these areas
