I10 West near Biloxi

Anyone know what the backup is from? Apple Maps saying an hour to get from 1 exit to the next.

Looks like it is a crash at the I-110 interchange. If you can get off in Ocean Springs or earlier take a road that will get you to US 90 and jump on I-110 after you pass the Beau.

I-10 on a spring/summer Sunday from Destin to Slidell can be an absolute nightmare. Then you “get” to deal with I-12 from Slidell to Baton Rouge.

Went Orange Beach a couple Thursdays ago.Got held up in a wreck somewhere in that area.
Took 45 minutes to get through it,was 2 18 wheelers had wrecked.
Coming back Sunday,(left at 7:30) traffic wasn’t bad until we got to Baton Rouge.I don’t know how people deal with that shitshow.It was early afternoon and it was terrible.

I-10/I-12 need to be minimum 3 lane from jacksonvillle Fl to San Antonio. I drive I12 I10 3 times a week and it truly sucks arse all the time.

Yrs ago a station in Biloxi had a lady on the radio saying she was running naked on the beach.
They advertised it for an hour or so and then it got out her dog was reportedly named naked.
Lame, but it got some folks.

Hopefully soon there will be nearly 50mi of 3 lane I-10 in MS. Will definitely help you coonasses get home faster in the summer.

They're 3-laning it from exit 13 to exit 28 right now. From there to exit 50 it's already 3 lanes.
Not sure how much good it would do from 2 to 13 since that's the Stennis buffer zone.

Went by this today before police arrived. Idiot pulling flatbed trailer lost control and slid off to the right steep embankment. Trailer flipped with heavy equipment but truck didn’t somehow.

Stennis buffer zone can spare the 16ft on each side of the interstate for a 3rd lane in each direction. Whomever thought 2 lanes would ever be enough in the first place was a moron!!! And as much as I hate to say it…… Mississippi is WAY WAY ahead of La in the terms of its interstates!!
I12should be 3 lane minimum, and 4 lanes around the cities, with the signs like Florida has of all truck traffic in the right lane only!!!

I saw somewhere there was a truck hauling a bunch of fireworks that went off. Ill try to find it and see if that could have been it, but that would have been pretty cool to see in person. The truck driver had to pull off to the side and it looked like traffic was stopped on both sides.

That’s not needed between Pensacola and Lake City. Pensacola to San Antonio, yes.
