...but they didn't have insurance
Stupidity all the way around. Stupid on this alleged company to be operating without insurance and stupid on the homeowners for going with the cheapest price and not verifying their license and insurance.

Good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good

Looks like it did $10,000 worth of improvements.

Was the roof properly strapped down before the work began?

That's probably a $100K piece of equipment. I doubt it is unscathed and doubt Sunbelt will just forget about it. If the dude is cutting trees without insurance, I doubt he opted for the insurance on the rental.

Most likely scenario is Randall’s will go bankrupt, fold, and reopen as Randal’s Tree Service with a clean slate.

That is what you get when Americans try to drive a British right-hand drive tractor.

As I read and scrolled down, I was expecting a lot worse.

Someone didn’t know to put the outriggers down to stabilize the machine

Should have asked for their insurance info before the job, not after. If they couldnt prove they were insured they shouldnt have gotten the job

Are they charging extra for demolishing those trashy structures

No outriggers and extended the boom all the way

The sweet taste of a good installation will last a lot longer than the lowest price. Call Rebel Heating and Air.

I ask for insurance and verify with agent before anyone works

I mean a company with no insurance just caused thousands of dollars in damage... its pretty bad

The bright side is that no one was killed. It's still really shitty, but could have been worse.

The dude at sunbelt is in a lotta trouble too.
They verify insurance before renting their equipment (or they’re supposed to).

I saw that on the Moss Bluff Facebook page earlier and laughed. Idiots.

That’s why you never hire a Baskin Robbins scooper to cut down trees on your property

THEY ARE NOT INSURED NOR ARE THEY LICENSED TO CUT DOWN TREES!!!!!
Seems like something to verify before Randall puts his equipment through your roof.
