no shite. Kids need discipline and guidance. Coddling them and speaking softly to them, while patting them on the arse for being spastic klutzes that cant keep up only makes for spastic adults that can't keep up.

I hate seeing shite like that. I really feel bad for the kids, knowing they have to live with that constantly. They'll end-up hating their parent(s), and then the parent will refuse to understand, just telling themselves that they gave their kid everything. It's really pathetic when adults lack the ability to step outside of themselves and their own insecurities and damage a child's psyche because of it. It's heartbreaking.

I bet in 10 years, that boy will be an alpha compared to your effeminate son.

I look at my 6 year old at least once a day and wonder how he remembers to breath. Love him to death, but damn sometimes I lose it. When it is the 10th airhead moment in an hour, you just can't take anymore.
Two other kids are on top of their shite, the middle one, not so much!
Don't judge a Dad too harshly out there spending time with his kid

He'll grow up one day and shove that bike up his old man's arse....training wheels and all!
Seriously, he needs to be careful since that little 5 y/o will be changing his diaper one day.

Talk to any successful man in the world and they all have one thing in common, hatred for their fathers.
This guy was doing that pussy a solid by not raising him to be soft. You should stop judging and stay taking notes.

I have three kids and was harsh one time with my son at age seven getting on a baby roller coaster and still regret it. As a parent, those mistakes haunt you. I haven't made one in years.
I had a really supportive Dad. I can't imagine demeaning my children.

1. Are you a woman without kids?
2. 5 year old kids can be lazy and whine a bunch. You have to give them some push. I don't agree with teaching kids to be sarcastic which is what you make it sound like but at the same time you have to get on their arse a bit.

Agreed. The father the OP described was providing neither.

His dad just yells at him "did you suddenly forget how to ride a bike?"
Did he really yell at him or did he say it in a joking way.

Sarcasm is an underrated character trait.

i had to straighten out a dad at the soccer fields the other day running his 6 year old kid up and down the river and dropping f bombs at him for screwing up at practice. kid was bawling. I had enough.

You should have started yelling at the kid with the dad. Just tear into him. Accomplishes two things.
1) Shows the dad how big of an a-hole he is.
2) You get to yell at a 4 year old.

Well the OP sounds like the kind of puss that would call the cops for parents cursing in front of their kids at walmart. I'll take his word with a grain of salt.

So the kid f'd up at practice and was humiliated
Dad mad at him and made him run further humiliating him
Dad gets arse chewed and handed to him in front of son further humiliating kid that his dad isn't the baddest guy on the planet
good job yo.

Thank God there's men with your courage in the world. It's this kind of bravery that reinforces my faith in humanity when I feel all is lost. Your posting history is permanently bookmarked as a beacon for all things right, strong and true in this otherwise abysmal world. God bless you.
