The Wonder Years, which was the version for the '60s, a decade I never thought there'd be nostalgia for.

Four of the six seasons were set in the 70's.

first show I can remember taking an interest in was Miami Vice. Took me awhile to realize Crockett and Tubbs were actually cops. (I was like 5 or 6 years old.. and was dropped on my head some).

always riding in a Ferrari, chasing somebody in a fast boat, or getting a new girl every other week.

80s fun as a kid, but 90s more fun as a teenager/YA(pagers/cell), Internet just being invented,
Less ballad rock... Deep bass music... Evolved movie resolution/ special effects... I could go on. Both pretty cool decades

The 40s were cool except for the war thing. Probably would prefer to be in my late 30s during that time because growing up in the 40s probably means I die in Korea or Vietnam :(

For the 80s, I would like to experience the NES and Hulkamania. That's about it.

Aside from hoping I'm still alive when we set foot on Mars, growing up in the 90s seems much preferable to modern times. Kids today don't have anything to watch on TV like what we did.

80's was fun as hell but it was tough to get laid compared to now. Girls were really worried about keeping a good reputation. Adding in the new aids scare only made it worse.

I was born in 1988, so unfortunately I don't have any memories of life in the 80's. I'm a huge fan of all things 80's and would have loved to experience that era. Don't get me wrong, the 90's were cool, but the 80's seemed like a better time.

I was born 79 grew up in the 80s and I thought the 90s were much cooler.

If you want a nice accurate taste of 80's nostalgia, watch Stranger Things on Netflix. It's really good. I was born in '72 so I got the full 80's experience in middle and high school. Started college just as the grunge seen hit big. I feel fortunate I spent my formative years in the 80's and got to experience a kind of musical revolution in college. One thing I wish was different is I wish we had cells in college, would have made hooking up waaaayyyy easier.

I'm glad to have gone through college without everyone having immediate access to a camera/video recorder at all times, though.

Here's one of the best things about the 80's:

1980–1981 Michigan (Graduate Assistant)
1982–1986 Colorado (Offensive Line Coach)
1987–1994 Michigan (Offensive Line Coach)

Note zero mention of Baton Rouge or LSU in this list.

Growing up in the 80s meant you got the full experience of the guy who had couple of fluke seasons coaching at Southern Miss due to the good fortune of having a future NFL Hall of Fame QB on his roster, though.

The 80s was basically the last decade where people watch exclusively three stations.

We had cable. The cable box were these punch buttons with a dial to sync the picture. My dad would turn the porn station on and try and tune it in and kinda get a picture.

Well, I did it too.
