Never tried it before, but it's supposed to be like a "light" opiate effect from what I understand, that can relax or give energy depending on strain/type.
DEA tried to outlaw it federally just a few years back and there was a huge backlash and they pulled back. A lot of people swear it does good because it can be used to wean oneself off of prescription painkillers/opiates.
You can buy it in gas stations but there are also shops that sell it in mixed drinks and stuff. There's a place on Canal in NOLA called Uxi Duxi that sells the drinks but I haven't been there personally.

The plant itself has to be less than 0.3% D9 THC by dry weight. Obviously that isn't potent, but you can make products that are large in volume. I'm not exactly sure how compliance works after processing, but a Crescent-9 THC seltzer is 355mL which if we assume the same density as water is 355,000mg of water, 6mg/355,000mg is 0.0016% D9 THC by volume. Same goes for edibles/gummies, the gummies themselves are very large compared to the tiny volume of actual D9 THC contained within. Even though it is still enough to get you very, very high.

Exactly. Between this, THCa, medical, etc., every adult who wants to get high is doing so. And guess what? Society isn't one iota worse off. Don't get me wrong; it's still gone to shite. But this hasn't made things any worse.

This is not true. Delta-9 THC is the "real" THC, it is natural, and it is extracted from hemp through a legal loophole, see post above.
You can also get D8 and D9 THC from isomerization of CBD oil.

THC-A, if I understand correctly...these weed breeders have made it so there is minimal Delta 9THC in the flower so it meets federal guidelines.
But upon combustion (lighting the bowl/joint) some other THC converts to the illegal Delta 9 in high quantities.

You are correct, all THC-A flower is, is regular marijuana harvested early to keep the d9 % below a .3%. The only difference between it being labeled as “marijuana “ and “THCA flower” is a minuscule % in the d9% in the flower before the THCA converts to d9 when decarbed.

I think someone on this board once claimed Delta 10 doesn’t show up on the standard drug test (only the more expensive tests that are rarely used).
I’ve tried 8, 9, and 10 a couple times/each when friends had it. All seemed more potent than the schwag’real stuff’ from back in day. Guessing long term use will have negative health consequences since it’s usually heavy use similar to nicotine vapes or 2 pack a day cigarette smokers.

Delta 9 is Marijuana in true form. The truth is it has less than .3% to be legal, so what you're feeling is CBD with a negligible amount of THC. It's clever marketing.
