I live for weather like today- 97 degrees and humid in S. La. I don't work outside, but I feel healthier when it's hot out. I can't stand the cold and even 70s is too cool for me.

Am I a freak or is this some sort of super power?

If it’s a super power to be able to do things in the air conditioning when it’s hot outside, then I think most people have super powers.

You belong in Africa if you love this miserable heat so much.

frick this heat. I was in the middle of a freaking strip mine this afternoon about 4:30 measuring the undercarriage on a Cat D10R. Not even a hint of shade around. It got so hot that when I was almost done with the inspection my freaking iPad overheated, wiping out all my measurements so I had to let it cool down and start all over again.

So you understand how it feels to work 14 hour shifts of manual labor in the scorching heat and wet blanket humidity? A real warrior.

Yes.

This is by far the most miserable time of year in the south.

I’m the same way. Something about hot weather makes me feel motivated.

The older I get, the harder it is to take the brutal summers of Louisiana.

You live for weather like today but you’re inside all of the time? Weird
