where did you get that assumption? i was asking what where they going to do......because i do know BR traffic sucks. Seems like reading comprehension skills have gone bye bye in recent years.
Your original post implied that Amazon does not do traffic feasibility studies of a site and its vicinity before locating any of their logistics/warehouses centers.

Judging by the map on The Advocate website it is still in BR. Hilarious if StG missed out on this.
Jokes on you. Official map on St. George's web page shows it's in SG. Doesn't matter if not. Once again, you idiots opposing SG don't bother to keep up. The City of St. George is funded by SALES TAX, not property tax. This distribution center will not generate sales tax. Get it?

I'm pretty sure the plan is to demolish the mall and build their own building
It would be cooler if they didn’t.
Ok, bring this pallet over to Spencer’s and stop by champs on the way back.

The tent in the parking lot at Costco is only supposed to have a "2 year shelf life", according to one of the other articles. In all likelihood the facility off Siegen will replace the tent in the Costco parking lot.

I think the larger fulfillment center is going to Cortana. The smaller regional DC is going to St. George (there will be another one in New Orleans/Kenner).

Amazon's logistics always amaze me.
uh, they located a logistics hub on Reiger Road. Maybe they’ll let us pick up our package while the driver is sitting in traffic.

They are building 2 distribution centers in BR?
No, they are two different types of distribution centers with different purposes with one being a little over 1 million square feet (Cortana) and one being 100,000 square feet (Rieger Road).
This is correct. The Cortana site will be demolished and a new 1.1 million sf regional distribution center will be built. The Riegel Road site will replace the Costco tent center.
Riegel Road will be extended to Pecue Lane so they will have access to I-10 at Pecue and Siegan Lane.
They are negotiating with the anchor buildings at Cortana as they are individually owned. It is six parcels-main mall and 5 anchor buildings.
