How many die in China on a normal, non-Corona-having day?

I think there are just as many new cases and deaths per day there as there is in the rest of the world. They are NOT giving anyone other than Iran and Russia info.
Or, China has the cure and isn't sharing it.

The crazy thing is that they probably don’t give a frick

I'm quite certain their family members care quite a bit.

Probably some, though, are along the lines of how much we don't give a frick about thugs killing other thugs in this country

Even in a gigantic shithole like China, Coronavirus isn’t that deadly to kill that many people.

Lets assume mortality rate is 0.5%

And 20% of population got infected

A billion people in china

200 million infected

A million dead

Overreact much? I highly doubt the numbers they report are accurate, but come on.

once again, this virus has been here in the US, and other places, for several months now

Why are hospitals just now being overrun and why are we running out of medical supplies? Why wasn't this the case months ago? Why isn't this the case every year with our 60,000 yearly flu deaths?

The only thing that makes sense to me is that it is much deadlier than they say.

Are all the other countries lying too?

Makes more sense to me that the Wuhan "collapsing in the streets" videos and streets being barricaded was all propoganda to get the West to self-destruct.

They left a 4g system and moved to competitor that has 5g. I think that’s your answer for that provider.

I think we'd all be fools to entirely trust China's numbers after they actively lied, tried to cover it up, miraculously killed the it by quarantining, kicked out reporters, and now report 0 new cases. It was probably worse than China let be known, but not to the extent you mention. Fear of their government or not, there'd be evidence online if it was that bad. You'd have dead in the streets.

Maybe not that many, but definitely a shite ton more than reported. All you frick knuckles bitching about the state of journalism in this country... well. Look to China and Russia for your alternatives. State run reporting where they say whatever they want.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if China just straight up axed positive tests of the poor.

I doubt millions died in China based on pollution data collected. I can only speak of the Chinese textile factories, but my contacts told me three weeks ago they were 60-70% back depending on the area. Their expectations were to be 90-100% back by the end of the March.

At the beginning of March, they were implementing several preventative measures to insure the safety of factory staff returning to production lines and office workers.

They required everyone to wear masks even when outside (except for eating), they were using sanitizer to disinfect the work areas and entrances on a daily basis, people's work stations were 1-2 meters apart at the factory floor and ditto for the admin office, and they checked all employee's temperatures when returning for work.

Employees that live at the factory weren't allowed to go off campus to prevent them from coming in contact with infected people.

It also depends on the area of China. At the beginning of March in the south, think Shenzhen and Guangzhou, who rely on workers from outside the area, they were more impacted than the north which had about 30-40% of their workers back.
