Just read this thread.

I decided to quit at least until New Years. I'm 22 days in. I had gotten to the point where a couple beers at a sports bar would turn into drinking crown until the sun came up and into the next night and being late for work. Started having nightmares about getting in trouble or getting hurt and decided to chill out. I started taking all the overtime I could and got back in the gym and feel much more productive not always being hungover. It's hard as frick to not drink for lsu games though

I had that feeling last week. This week I was just smarter during the day and everything was fine. Started drinking a couple hours later, took a break every 2 or 3 beers and had water and food, then I didn't go out after the game.

As someone else in here said, I'm normally fine, but when I drink all day things can get a little out of hand.

I plan on stopping now until the end of law school finals so almost two months and hope to lose some weight as well.

I only drink when I'm alone or with somebody.
