I work in a large high school. We have had several young, single teachers marry each other throughout the years.

And we have had a few date and then it not work out and either one or both of them were working other places the following year.

It can be worth it if you think the person is spouse material, but not for a fling.

Don't dip you dick in company ink...(or something like that)

Story time. Any of you LSU Construction Management guys that had Duncan Kinchen will remember this.

I had senior Project Management capstone class my last semester at 0730 on M/W/F. About 15 guys in the class. On a Friday morning about midway thru semester, Kinchen walks in a puts his notebook down on the table. “Gentlemen, todays class will be short. If there’s anything you learn from me, I want you to remember this. Never. Dip. Your pen. In the company ink. Nothing will screw up a company faster, than fricking someone you work with. Have a nice day.” Picks up notebook, exits classroom.

Best and most useful lecture I ever received. Seen it proven true time and time again. Apparently he was famous for this lecture because it seems everyone had it.

RIP, awesome dude.

Im a big proponent of no, never. I dont know how there are couples that work at the same place.

But saying that, yes i did. but I only did it because she was a foreign exchange student and she was leaving in a couple of months. So we decided to have fun together knowing it was going to end and she would go back. So there would be no issues with us still working together.

Yes - President's Secretary / Executive Assistant

I had been at the company 7 years and went on a business trip to Vegas where she and I came back "in love".

I F'ed up the relationship, PO'ed the girl, and had to leave my job.

It was a bad decision

I have, all but one were FWB so there were zero issues - we continued to be friends, worked well together, and just took care of each others needs until something serious come up for either of us. The one though went nutso when I declined to move in with her. She tried to make trouble for me with the owner but I was halfway out the door to my next gig by then anyway.
