I never really thought about it, but we've got plenty of Texas Hammer billboards.
I've yet to see this one in person, but it looks like the best:

Most of the billboard attorneys here in SC never file suit. They'll take any case regardless of its merits but will also settle cases for way too low because they don't want to rack up litigation costs. They deal in such volume it doesn't matter that they never litigate.

Shunnarah is such a damn troll he even sponsors the traffic reports on several radio stations here in Birmingham.

HWY 90 between Lafayette and New Iberia is 25 miles of pure embarrassment.

Shunnarah had a deal with Lamar Advertising (billboard company) that he'd take every available billboard for something like 25% of the normal rate. When they sold it to someone else, his billboard would leave. That's why you'll see the one on top of the other at times.
Also, he's now doing so well that he just sells franchises to his firm. These new locations are franchisee lawyers raking in his intakes.

That's funny. You know what I always remember at truckers in Louisiana? That their slow-asses love to drive in the left lane on I-10 and I-12 at 55 mph and cause back ups miles long.

David Komie's motto ought to be, "Every day is white boy day!"

hate the litigation culture. It's trashy. It's embarrassing. It really makes me want to retire and never look back. This profession is truly a den of thieves.
Yep

I want to punch one of those guys in the face! Think his name is HAMM or something of the sorts. On a trip between Lafayette and Morgan city, I wanted to hurt him badly.

This is true of politicians in the US Senate and House of Reps.

I agree that there's a special lower ring of Hades reserved for the shitbags that are "Personal Injury" attorneys.
Whatever the frick that term means as neither the State of Louisiana or Mississippi recognizes legal specialty in personal injury.
Mississippi State folks are generally more to be pitied than censured but this is kind of good-

And not to mention "Mike Slocumb, The Alabama Hammer!"

Yes it's grotesque but it's the business model whattaya gonna do? They should outlaw lawyer advertising altogether like it was for most of US history until when the 80s?
SCOTUS held attorney advertising protected commercial speech in the 1970s.
One of the worst decisions ever.

Stay positive. It is really the minority that give the majority a bad name. Most of us out here do the job right....we do not waste time with frivolous crap...we take care of people who get screwed because some body made a decision to be stupid.
I've never understood why a few of these idiots waste time and money trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shite. It makes it harder on people with legit issues and gives the profession a black eye.
Advertising is all about egos....it has zero to do with taking care of people or making sure the law operates the way it is supposed to.

I've been in CA practicing for a year and a half now, and the difference is amazing, especially when you consider how many more lawyers they have over here. Atty Billboards are uncommon, and i rarely see lawyer TV commercials. Just not done much here in NorCal. Maybe SoCal is worse, but it can't be as bad as LA.
I did an extended drive last month from BR to Thibodaux to Alexandria up thru Shreveport on my way out West and the sheer number of Atty Billboards is astonishing.

The problem is "monkey see monkey do". All these advertising mills thinks that if one of them does something they all must do it.
If they tried actually taking care of their clients, maybe they would realize what the guy down the street does really does not have an impact on their practice.
