Do we really have to do this? They has been used in place of gender identifiers forever. I’m clearly not in favor of the freak from the context of my post. Letting those dickwads have complete control of the word like that is stupid.

Not even the best disc golf trophy.

What happened to that dude that was trying to win the women’s disc golf stuff?
This dude won the over 55 division.

While sick it doesn’t look lke Gregg Barsby can use that the same way Evaliina can use hers.

The last one I remember playing in a big time MPO tourny was Paige Pierce who at the time was the best women's player. She played resonably well but got hammered.

Continue letting them dictate your daily life like word usage then. I have more important shite to worry about.

K. The pronoun game is about obedience, nothing more. I'm not referring to one person with a plural pronoun. You may as well demand that I call you 'your holiness.' Ain't gonna happen. DWI.
So let me get this straight, you want me to change the way I have used they/them as a singular pronoun in informal settings for over 50 years (and millions of other people do the same every day) without any deference to the LGBT community and their wants and desires because it makes you feeel better. The only time I made a conscious effort with pronouns in that post was my use of "he she it" which is very much considered a pejorative to that community.
You have the same thin skin they do.

Nah the only time I've used they or them is when I'm referring to more than one person. When its one person it's always he or she. The whole pronoun shite with the lgbt crowd is beyond stupid.

Informally if person or persons is completely unknown especially if quantity is unknown to some degree or is vague. If it’s known to be a single individual with the gender/sex of that individual unknown to speaker or writer a version of “he or she” is more appropriate.
This guy doesn’t fit either scenario, so using “they” is both confusing to the reader hence the questions or is pandering (or both).
The alphabets were given a chance to develop a gender neutral 3rd person singular pronoun. They instead developed hundreds and fearing pitting identities against each other and seeing the victimhood attention gained by using “they” due to the unnaturalness of it going against long standing grammar rules the alphabets chose narcissistically along with some laziness thrown in on not wanting to deal with the internal outrage.

In this thread is that really what you did multiple times for a specific person whose name and gender/sex were known to you and at least once you went the he, she, or it route?
You know good and well that if this guy was not a trans that with the information you know about him you would have used a version of “he” or his name throughout your response below.

I think their name is Nat Ryan or something like that, last I looked they had a ranting in the 960s which puts them in the top 15 and they have cashed in a few tournaments this year, usually in the 11-20 range.
The top women will be rated near 1000 and the top men will be around 1050. Ryan's ranking wouldn't be in the top 2000 of men's pros. There are probably 150 mens ams ranked higher than Ryan. Hell, I am a long time player but weekend warrior and my rating hovers around 940 which barely puts me in the top 1000 ams. He she it isn't very good for a biological dude. If they had a bad day and I had a good day I could beat them, not a ringing endorsement, I assure you.
