I was browsing around today and for some reason decided to look up Roman coins. I love ancient history, especially Roman (I recently read SPQR by Mary Beard which is a great book about to he history of ancient Rome) and I think it would be neat to have something from that time.

There were several sites selling certified ancient coins. Some were in the thousands of dollars, some even around $50k or more. I went with a cheap one that has a lot of weathering and just age building up but should be neat anyways.

This one

Do any of y'all have any ancient coins and if so what civilizations? Or if not ancient ones maybe just neat coins from American history or something?

Worthless.

Like it’s new owner.

It’s why Rome went out of business.

I have the rock Little David used to put out Goliath's lights with that sling launched strike to his forehead, also the tennis shoe tongue and shoe strings he used to make the sling he used that day.

Are you interested in acquiring these significant Biblical artifacts? I am willing to let go of them for the right price.

In the few years I was on Xanax and ambien..some of my random purchases were real Babylonian artifacts, a $3000+ watch, an antique oil lamp that used real whale oil, whale oil, a night of the living dead 16mm and a John gacy original

I used to sell gold coins over the phone. Be prepared to have people calling you asking you to buy thousands of dollars worth of coins.

I'm not a numismatist, but used to read Coin World frequently. Always wanted to buy an ancient coin such as this from one of those ads. Kudos for actually getting one.

I have an extensive coin collection - it's too much to list - the most valuable ones are gold American Eagles
