Let's say our economy went to shite, and India or China or Brazil were booming and you had to move there permanently to be able to make enough to support your family.

Would you promptly assimilate by wearing the clothes, speaking the language, perhaps changing religions, start eating local foods, etc? Or would you try to find a neighborhood full of other Amercians and continue to follow your current cultural practices?

I bet it is the latter. Why expect more from someone else if you wouldn't do it yourself?

Folks will assimilate in time, as in a generation or two, but it doesn't happen immediately,

Christian terrorism

Hindu terrorism

Jewish terrorism
