dunno if you're in for the messenger bag style but this is what I have. usually people comment on it and say they like it.

It's got a pretty good price on it too. Brought it to a meeting and the guy complimented mine and was bitching about the one he paid $450 for. this one is less than $100 and has held up well for about 5 years.

Tumi is the best...they even have a brown ballistic nylon. My briefcase will likely outlive me.

Saddleback will last forever, only because you’ll get over the look in a few months, and stop carrying it because they are so damn heavy. Seriously, everyone I know who bought a saddleback either sold it or stashed it within a year. Great looking bag, though.

There are hard-sided briefcases(shite from the 80's people think of as all briefcases) and soft-sided briefcases.

I use a Tumi slim briefcase, the Alpha bravo andrews.

Kind of like how frat stars put toolboxes on their truck but no actual tools in them
