Good luck to y'all. In 14 years you'll be 60 and getting AARP items in the mail and she'll still be 38.

Can't really go by that. People's backgrounds play such a big part in maturity and such. Mine came over from Honduras (yes she is legal) and had to adapt to America. She grew up pretty quickly and it shows

Yeah but I bet they're fat and ugly young ones. No 25 year old beautiful woman's gonna go date a 40+ year old unless he brings in 500k+ a year. By the sound of your post, I can tell you don't make 500k+ a year.

That isn't true at all. Some young women just like older men. Especially older men that take good care of themselves and are stable. I'm 51 , I typically date women between 35 and 40, when I was 44 I was dating a young lady of 25, and she was absolutely hot. I only dated her for about 6 months but the point still stands.

I’ve dated women 18 years younger and 7 years older.

The older women usually have good jobs, own house, own car, older children, and not looking for someone to pay their bills or raise their kids.

I’ve also found older women are more experienced sexually and you know what they look like at an older age.

Younger might be good looking now but what about 10-20 years in the future

If I was single, I'd be worried about a much younger woman deciding she wanted kids. Even if she said she doesn't want them, they change their minds sometimes. My youngest is 17 years old. Screw starting over after raising kids for half of my life already

I think it’s hilarious when people say this.. Like, yeah i guess im *old* enough to be her dad.. but i am *not* her dad… im mid 40s dating women in their 20s, so yeah im old enough to be their dad, or their uncle, or their stepdad- but i am in fact NONE of those things, im not from Bunkie or from Livingston Parish or anyplace like that so ive never been related to any woman ive dated- so it makes zero difference to anyone other than judgmental people … Also, i will let y’all in on a little secret- some women actually *like* the older guy thing.. i have had more than one woman in her 20s call me “Zaddy”, which i guess is a term of endearment that Gen Z women have for older guys that they find attractive.. I always take it as a compliment, so whatever floats their boat, i guess .

I’m 44 and won’t date anyone over 32. Why would I want hamburger steak when I can have Filet Mignon?

Younger women are more beautiful, more feminine, more fun, less hostile.
Why in the world would I date a girl my own age, let alone older than myself, when I can date young beautiful women ?

Then you’ll eventually fall for one and stay with her for a significant amount of time. And guess what….those young girls get older

As I got older, one thing I learned is that younger folks act like they’re gonna stay the same age their entire lives. Their lives AND themselves at that time are never going to change either. So naive and hilarious at the same time.

Dating and paying for that attention are two different things.

Other than the sex, what could POSSIBLY have in common with anyone in their 20s at your age?

That says more about your maturity than it does theirs.

Whatever float your boat man. Sex is one thing, but I couldn't imagine spending most of my free time with a Zoomer at 46

Correct .

I always say about whatever woman im dating: “She’s extremely mature for her age… and i am extremely IMmature.. so we meet in the middle !”

It works for me, but you do you .

I sort of get your point, but one glaring fact that you seem to have missed - your arse is getting old and less attractive too!

Women in that age bracket SHOULD be looking for settle down and get serious.

The clock is ticking.

Peter Pan probably does find more enjoyment dating younger women with more sand at the top of the hourglass if he’s not ready to settle down.

Valid concern my husband started over at 47.
