Where can I pick up a test that will tell me what variant I might have?

They have looked at blood samples from the last 50 years and have found proof of numerous reinfection from this strain.

Probably why they chose coronavirus as a platform for building their bioweapon.

And when I say they, I mean Fauci and the CCP.

Wife got it earlier this week, I have it now.

She had a bit of a cough, headache, and loss of energy.

I've had a worse cough with a stuffy nose, no headache, and had a bit of energy loss yesterday when I first noticed but am fine today.

I've had colds that were worse.

So there are two levels of sickness for you? The common cold and then so sick you are unable to use a phone?

It’s a common cold and has basically no hospitalizations, man up and take some ibuprofen and cut the grass

I keep hearing there is nothing to it, but you have it, so what is it like?

It’s pretty similar to the flu. Body feels like I got the shite beat out of me, bad fatigue and night sweats, and medium grade fever.

And yes lockdowns and mandates are still stupid

I have no doubt that the CCP released this virus from the Wuhan lab.

I've read a lot about the gain of function research that Fauci participated in....but I'm still not convinced covid was released intentionally.

What we don't know is if this virus was isolated from a bat they captured in a cave, if it was genetically engineered with gain of function, or a combination of both.

Regardless of what the Wuhan virology lab did to the virus in their research, I still have a tough time believing it was released intentionally. My current theory is that a lab worker accidentally got infected, took it home with him, got others sick, and the CCP covered up all evidence of a lab leak.

It looks like Omicron is responsible for around 80% of new cases.

How does anyone know it is Omicron? Unless they are sending to state for confirmation most have nothing to confirm it is Omicron. No hospital I am aware of is actually testing to confirm Omicron, they are simply testing to confirm it is Covid. Beyond confirming a patient has Covid virtually nobody is testing for the strand that I know of.

Who are the 80% of diagnosing medical personnel that are testing to confirm Omicron that you are aware of?

It’s definitely spreading fast. But like you said, symptoms are less.

I personally know 4 families that are all fully vaccinated that each have multiple family members with the vid right now.

Don’t want to risk a fight asking if they are having buyers remorse. Even though my smirk says it all.

I had a Facebook friend that posted from the hospital 2 days before he died from Covid.

I’m always shocked at the number of infectious disease experts on this board.

You are the one that is able to assume 80% of cases are Omicron and 15% are Delta, notwithstanding the fact that very very few hospitals are actually testing to determine the variant, just to confirm Covid.

I don’t feel like creating a new thread so I’m just gonna leave this here

quote:

BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana Department of Health has paused monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19 because of a federal decision to stop allocating supplies due to its efficacy against the Omicron variant.

Louisiana previously offered two different monoclonal antibody treatments that have been suspended indefinitely.

The LHD said the federal government put a hold on the treatments because of updated data from the CDC, saying the two monoclonal antibodies available in Louisiana are not effective against the Omicron variant.

The state has received a very limited number of a different treatment, sotrovimab, which they said remains effective against the Omicron variant. LDH said more doses are expected in January.

WBRZ News story

Interesting that this treatment is deemed ineffective against omicron and suspended yet the vaccine is proving just as ineffective yet still being mandated.

Extrapolating from samples that ARE sent in AND lists of symptoms.
Of course not every positive sample is sent for testing.

This is the variant to get. It’s mild then you have immunity.

I am just getting over Covid. For me it was definitely worse than a cold. More like flu but didn't last as long. Never had severe chills like that even though fever wasn't extremely high.

Wish I wouldn't have got tested but didn't feel comfortable going to family Christmas without knowing.

Infusion places were closed fri-sun. So couldn't even get the antibodies.
