Kids had it 2 weeks ago, wife caught it 7 days later, and I tested positive 4 days after her. Daughter (8) never blinked an eye and was pissed to be quarantined. Son (16) was flu like with fever, chills and body aches for 3 days. Then a week of sinus yuck. Wife (47) about the same but more severe body aches. Me (50) in good health was knocked in the dirt! Sucked arse for 4 days. O2 levels dropped to 90%, very high blood pressure, struggled to breathe, fever, pains, and a massive headache. Dr. was concerned about heart with the high blood pressure so I went in and got the infusion. That night was the worst of all. Then the next day I had a dry cough, fatigue. Day 7 I am raking leaves, snotty nose, and still not breathing great but 100% better. So not sure why the dipshits would stop the infusions. They definitely help knock it out faster if you are lucky enough to get severe symptoms. And just an FYI, I am full vaccinated. So they lied. You still get sick as F’ if you are one of the lucky ones. Most everyone else I know didn’t even freaking sneeze! Pissed me off. Now the crap part is not taste! That sucks

It is everywhere currently, but Drs I know are not worried like they were a year ago.

It’s a bigtime win if hospitalizations stay down as case levels explode. THIS is how we get to herd immunity.

I got tested because I friend I was hanging out with tested positive and a few of us all got sick. Even if I hadn't gotten tested, if my kid showed up at school with the sniffles they would have required a negative test to return. So I'm just playing it safe.
