Yes he was, but if you look at the picture and read the article I posted, it mentions that he was with someone from Adidas and then he took that picture hiding the Adidas logo.
I am not sure you understand how sponsors work, but lil Wayne would not be casually out in public, in the United States (I say this because OBJ was out of the country participating in an event sponsored by adidas. And although there was a picture taken of him, in an adidas shirt, when he was knowingly taking a picture, he was covering the logo) drinking something other than what he is being paid to represent.
He would have to at least not have it around so people could see.. Because he wouldn't want to end up having pictures of him drinking something other than Bumbu.

2 details in your story you should have thought about before bringing this yarn to the OT:
1. Nobody is getting 6 bottles of Corona and a pizza (and tax) for $28; at least not in America
2. If the tab was $28 and he left her 68 cents you are implying he gave her $29. You expect us to believe Weezy counted out a twenty, a five and four ones? He had exact change and counted it out? That is some wypipo shite right there.
You have to get the little details correct if you want people to believe your shite. (Although this is the OT and they will believe any story that makes blacks look stupid)

Could have given $30 and taken the dollar leaving the change, assuming the total was $28.32.
