In my outback story, the dumb skanky waitress actually said something to him like "so I guess I'm getting a nice tip huh?" implying that exact thing. It was what prompted his response. It was kind of an awesome response, and apparently very honest.

I went to a restaurant in Birmingham last weekend called “The Southern” and they included gratuity for a party of 4.
Lots of culcha eating there so I was not surprised.

That’s so funny! The same sorta thing happened to me. The two token white people at our family gathering went completely bananas when a surprise pan of unseasoned baked chicken breasts arrived. Barely got the pan on the table before they bumrushed me. What are the odds!
