I just got home from Walmart and went out to the shop to put away some paper plates I just bought. As I opened the shop door that bastard ran past me and into the connecting dayroom and then behind some folding tables against the wall.
I've been trying to kill the mf'er for weeks. fricker ate all of my pepper seedlings and about six of my tomato seedlings.
At first I tried mouse traps before realizing how big he was. He laughed at those. Then I tried that green rat bait. He drugged that shite away to his rat hideout, crushed it and snorted it. Then he wrote a note thanking me for the high.
So when that bastard was hiding behind the folding tables, I decided to get my pellet gun and then close the door to the shop, blocking his escape.
I quickly put four pumps in my Daisey combo pellet/bb gun, ready for action.
I courageously walked over to the tables, peeking behind them I could see that rat bastard staring back at me. Before I could get my aim on him, he panicked and ran to the closed shop door, scrabbling to get thru. He settled down for a second. Pow! I shot that shite in the stomach area. He yelled, and sat there for a second.
Meanwhile I was struggling to load another bb. fricker wouldn't roll in. By the time I got it loaded and pumped he hid behind the folded tables again.
With my blood pumping I was ready for action so I chased him out. He went for the shop door again. Then he went behind our 63' Seeburg Jukebox before I could get off a shot.
I chase him out from behind the jukebox, he ran behind the tables again and then to the opposite wall and ran up the brick wall like it was nothing for him. For a minute he hid behind a life size poster board of Elvis.
I poked at Elvis with the barrel of the gun trying to get the rat to drop to the floor. Instead of dropping he climbed up the brick wall to the audio speaker and hid behind it.
I sat down waiting for him to stick his head out, aiming at the edge of the speaker. He didn't come out so I bumped at the speaker with the gun barrel a few times. It didn't work. I did again. He decided to attack.
He came out and jumped directly at me. I could see his little beady eyes getting closer to mine. I swatted him down in mid air with my left hand. (I may have screamed.)
He bounced against the wall and ran across the room to the folding tables once more. I kept my distance because I was sure he would attack again.
I quickly regained my courage and scared him out behind the tables. I shot him again I think. He jumped, but no sounds.
He went behind the jukebox. I pulled the jukebox away from the wall and could see him looking at me. I shot again, thinking I hit him. Again no sound.
He came out for a moment and I got another shot in with six or seven pumps. He yelled in pain. He was dying so I put another shot in his head. Killed him.
frick you rat. I win.
Dead rat pics below:
ETA: I just got finished with the clean up. Kinda felt like cleaning up after a murder scene. Gloves, bags, and a mop.
Funny thing is I still wasn't convinced he was dead. I gave out a yell and a stomp of my foot. No movement. I picked him up by the tail. Stiff as a board. He dead for sure.

Yeo, definitely going to need new tile. No way around it. Rat blood is not easy to get out. You are in luck. I am running a sale this week.

Thoroughly enjoyed.
I had a tussle with a family of mice a few years ago in Philadelphia. Anytime I see any of those fricks I celebrate them dead

Well Dear langland did battle a rat,
On his vittles the rodent grew fat,
Til a pumped BB gun,
Slung lead til it was done,
And its head did explode with a splat

A theory was that a rat’s stash had gotten processed into the batch since the guy also supposedly found some droppings and string and other shite in bag.
