Heather and I are friends. She calls me 3 or 4 times a week. She's kinda rude though because when I try to say something to her she just keeps on talking like she didn't even hear me.

I listened to a podcast the other day where the argument was made scammers try to produce these scams as stupid as possible as a selection bias of sorts, to get the dumbest people possible.

After I gave Albert (the Publisher's Clearinghouse representative who called me) my bank account information I asked him if I would get a 1099 to report the income on my taxes.
He said he didn't know and he seemed to be in a hurry to get off the phone. I think maybe he had other winners to call today.
Do you know if I should expect to get a 1099 or do I just self report the income?
