You should probably notify the authorities.
ETA: Though when I was a kid in Hawaii, I found a human skull on the beach. I took it to show and tell. No one said a word. It did, however, disappear when we moved (I think my mom deep sixed it).

You shouldn't move anything and touch as little as possible. It could be an old burial that's come uncovered. But only a forensic person could determine all that.

Or it could be the burial spot for a serial killer, and that skull is the latest victim, who just so happened to find other remains and took pictures of it, trying to get his shoe in the pic. We any missing any posters?
