I just know that growing up as a poor black kid my mom would only buy us 1 pair of pants at wal mart every couple of years (usually dickies). We would have to grow into them; one year they'd sag below my butt but a few years later they were skinny jeans. That's usually why trends come and go, unbeknownst to the general public. That's real talk.
