I was on the Westbank at a gas station and a grown man had his pants down below his arse. Besides the fact that it looks retarded it also severely hinders basic mobility. I understand this has been going on for a while but I’m just dumbfounded every time I see it.

Also the Westbank is a depressing fricking area.

Is it really considered a "fad" if it has been around for 30 years?

It's not a fad. A fad lasts only a short bit of time.

Sagging is a lifestyle.

It's a fashion trend that began in prison as a way to make others aware that you were "open for business." So, basically everyone you see wearing that style now is telling the world they want it up the arse.

You are right. We could only be so lucky if it were a fad but it seems to be a lifestyle.

It's the epitome of trashiness yet so many are proud to look stupid doing it. So brave

Probably why they get caught by the police when they run away. Not directing at any race, but more so the degenerates who do this.

I avoid places where people who's pants are like that usually frequent. It's not hard.

Just get gas at Costco.
Shop for groceries at Target.
Buy things on Amazon.
Preferred periodic fast food: Chick-Fil-A.

Quite the opposite. They will pull them up if they are about to run.

It's ridiculous looking. I thought it meant that you were a catcher in prison too

Or just don't live in a shithole. All I have to do is avoid Walmart, but I don't live in a ghetto.

Yea, this was a ‘fad’ when I was in high school 25 years ago.

It doesn’t bother me anymore. It just lets me know who I’d be offered a job over on sight alone. Same with tattoos and piercings.

The saggy pants are usually paired with a 4 XL t-shirt even though the dude wearing it is 5'9 140 lbs.

quote:

The style was popularized by skaters and hip-hop artists in the 1990s. It later became a symbol of freedom and cultural awareness among some youths or a symbol of their rejection of the values of mainstream society. It is often claimed the style originated from the United States prison system where belts are sometimes prohibited and there can be a lack of appropriately sized clothing
This is actually more believable. Still ridiculous looking.
