I iron like once a year

Steamers are so much better

But I'll never use my table again

That's not from an iron. It looks like you were laying on your back on the table.

I use a steamer but was wearing a button up shirt, so I put a towel down on my table and royally fricked it up

What difference does this make?

Because a steamer just doesn't get the job done on that kind of shirt

You know like a white cotton button up with a collar and cuffs

Not sure why you thought it was a good idea in the first place.

I assumed it was the same as water rings and would come up with mayo. No such luck. Do I just need a new table or is there something else I can try?

I wouldn't trust putting things on it. It's structurally not sound. Throw it away and buy another one from RentACenter.

Do you steam shirts while wearing them?

I hate to laugh.

Looks like you'll have to sand it down and stain it.

If you had taken me up on that date/slam session awhile back I could have explained the proper uses of the table while doing you on it and this problem would have been avoided.

I'm sorry about you table Paige, but this can be fixed. You can buy this product at your local hardware store. Apply liberally. A 2nd coat may be needed.

Omg you are my new best friend!

From Amazon reviews

Crazy as it sounds, this product works. It will remove many chemical or water stains from finished or natural wood.
