I ironed on my body one time ( ok, more than a few)., just gotta be quick.
Your table will have to be refinished. Next time, be quicker.

My MOL rubbed mayonnaise on it and it went away. She knows all sorts of weird housewife tricks.
Where's the fun in that?
Were it me, I'd pour denatured alcohol on it and throw a match on it. Hopefully, it'll evaporate the water trapped in the finish that she steamed when she ironed on it and it'll be good as new. I would probably do this outside, you know, just in case. And only if my wife weren't home at the time. And wasn't going to be home until I could get a new table.... just in case things went really, really badly.

Yes. A steamer isn't precise enough for cotton
Hold on. I will post a pic

Yeah, steamers are a PITA for some clothes.
Steam board mounted on the wall is the way to go.

I did something similar to my table in the past. Some chick I know recommended using a 50/50 mix of toothpaste (no gel)and backing soda, it worked like a charm.

Steamer gets the wrinkles out but you can't crisp up the cuffs and collar

I usually wear shirts more like this that you just lightly steam

my mom redid all my little sister's furniture in that. Too much work
I'll try the krazy kloth and maybe toothpaste and baking soda (not sure if a trick)
