These are our company cars. Most of them have needed transmission work.

We rented one in Colorado this summer. It was all they had available at the rental store. Reluctantly said ok, thought I'd hate it, ended up enjoying the hell out of it.

It's a great running around car. Nissan is stepping up lately. Frontier, Pathfinder and Rogue all are really great vehicles.

Frontier

I had a frontier for about 4 years before a deer stepped in front of me on the hwy on my way to work one morning. I had no complaints outside of it being dated because they waited way too long to do a body refresh. Honestly I would’ve gotten another but they still hadn’t refreshed the model and I really wanted something a little bigger because of the kiddos and hauling two kayaks/ work stuff.

Guy that works for me bought one when they finally did the refresh and it’s a really great truck. I seriously may go back to the smaller size when I’m ready for a new one. Frontier has more room in the backseat than a ranger or Colorado.

I got a spectacularly lucky deal on that Frontier. I test drove a new one and asked the salesman if they had any used ones. He called me the next morning and said he had one that hadn’t hit the listing yet that they just got in. It was a loaner, had 365 miles on it, dual climate control, heated seats, bed liner with Nissan utility track system, bed extender, and the alloy rims. I got it almost $10k off the price of the new one I test drove (that didn’t have most of those extras) and they gave me the Certified Preowned warranty with an extra 50k miles. That would never happen today.

I’m so grateful for that truck. I was desperately in need of a vehicle and didn’t have a lot of money at the time and that fell into my lap. Was a great truck for me.

Mine saw red line at most gears. Towed well over max.

I did 10k mile oil changes with mobil1 0w40 and 20k filter changes. Drain and fill on trans every other time oil change from 150k to 250k.
