RSN does NOT suck & is becoming a great little college town.

It must have changed since the eighties when I went to school there. Tech was a ghost town on weekends and I swear 1 out 3 students at Tech had a DUI. Ruston cops were assholes.

I will say the Sundown was legit with great food.

I mean, that was 40 years ago. It's a great little town with a nice downtown and Tech is a completely different campus with all the money Mr Davison has given.

Still is. MJ Burger and fried green beans are amazing. The bartenders go strong with the drinks too.

Haughton would have been a better location. Lots of room for expansion. I can't believe Bossier Parish let a Buc-ees slip through their fingers.

Was hoping they'd skip Louisiana altogether They don't deserve a bucees

St. Tammany could use one, BR and NO not so much. Between corrupt politicians and violent cities it’s not hard to understand why Louisiana doesn’t already have a Buc-ees.

There is a brewery in the middle of downtown, so that’s quite a change.

When they built the one in Terrell it there was literally nothing around it. Now there's multiple hotels, shopping centers, theatre, dozen or so restaurants, and they're even building apartments nearby now. What it can bring to an area (as batshit crazy as it sounds) is worth the incentives.
was telling my wife about that driving through there a couple weeks ago. Is that normal for them? The only other locations I drive by consistently are the Denton and Fort Worth ones and I think those areas were built up already. My sister lives near the one going up in Hillsboro and they’re hopeful something similar happens there.

eh I think west end of Shreveport would probably be best but I’m sure they have a good reason

Buccees would run a couple of those off. They’d have 0 reason to indicate that they should be worried about them.
