You're not really missing much. Of the originals, 1 1/2 are good. The prequels, maybe one is decent. The sequels are all preachy garbage.

First two are ok. Third was iffy. Haven't seen any of them in at least 15 years.
Have never watched or had any interest in the others since the originals.
And have never understood the cult around them other than they seem to be a bunch of dorks.

Star Wars is very good, The Empire Strikes Back is great, The Return of the Jedi is meh and a disappointment after the first two. The next batch is mostly despicably awful. Rogue One was a pleasant surprise.
