The first time I heard someone call a water fountain a "bubbler", it took a good 2 minutes for me to figure out what they were talking about. It was like an Abbot and Costello "Who's on First?" scenario.

I haven't heard anyone call it that since, but it's a damn weird word for a water fountain.
