I have Covid and am curious how my symptoms compare to other experience.
Posted by Kingshakabooboo

Non vaccinated. 48 yr old man. 6 ft 300 lbs….I know, fat ass. I get a full medical check up annually and do not have high blood pressure, or diabetes. Other than overweight, no co-morbidities.
Woke up Monday and felt ache and very very lethargic. No fever or congestion. Went to work but after a couple hours developed low grade fever and they made me leave and go get tested. Was positive for Covid. Went home, popped a Tylenol got in bed and didn’t wake up til Tuesday. Tuesday felt great. No aches and only just a little tired. Woke up Wednesday to a small amount of chest congestion which has remained but again very mild. Only real symptoms I still have is the mild congestion, low grade fever and mainly extreme lethargy. Like it takes everything I have to crawl out of bed.
Since Monday have been on a regiment of vitamin c, d, zinc, musinex and Tylenol. Wife thinks I should go back to doctor. What days the OT. Should I go or am I the down hill slide of this thing.

I mean the doctors aren’t going to really prescribe anything. Tough it out. Omicron hasn’t killed anyone in the entire world at this point.

I had a headache and fever for one day. Ran 12 miles the day after.
Can't believe we shut down our country over this shite.

Sounds like typical omicron. Unless things change you should be fine.

I just tested positive this morning for the first time. I’m vaccinated but no booster. Have a headache, sore throat, low grade fever, and my back is achy but nothing too bad.

I felt like I had a sinus infection and a temp freezing one minute and temp breaking the next with achy stuffy head. Lost taste and smell for 35 days.
That was back in July and still dont feel like I have my full taste back.

Can tell you take asprin for couple months. 37yr old brother of family friend got covid 2 weeks ago. Was fine, no symptoms. Day 5 got up, couldnt breath, died before ambulance showed up. Threw a bloodclot to his lungs. Covid seems to cause clotting

I'm in shape, got vaccinated last April but no booster. Got what I assume was omicron earlier this month. First day was probably the "worst" with a headache, slightly achey upper back and sinus congestion. Never got a cough or fever. Got better rapidly the first couple of days and was back to working out after 5 days.
ETA: to be clear, I was for sure positive for covid but my assumption is that it was omicron.
Never took anything other than Tylenol the first few days, then nothing after that.

The doctors will do absolutely nothing for you and if you get worse, all they will do is give you oxygen then kill you on a vent if you get bad enough. There's absolutely zero point in going anywhere.
Tough it out.
