I have a jerk for a supervisor

The guy is in way over his head. Everything that goes worng he blames everyone but himself. I sent him an email last week detailing all of the problems I am having and he basically blamed me for all the problems and took zero responsibility. This company has had a lot of turnover lately and he is the reason for it. Anyone else have the joy of working with a prick like this guy?

either quit and find another job or suck it up and do your job.

Look. Some people have special orders. It can get confusing but focus and you will be assistant manager in no time.

What prompted you to do this? This is one of those situations where a closed door face-to-face would have been more appropriate.

Go over his head as high up as you can and talk to that boss about him.

Working on that. LinkedIn has been pretty helpful. I want to write the world's best resignation letter when it is time to leave.

You're a woman aren't you? Your post reads like something a woman would write.

You should have gone to his supervisor

I've tried face to face and he never holds his end of the deal up. I sent an email to have it in writing.

At least now we know who to blame for the shake machine being broken.

Usually upper management will side with the super so suck it up and do the best work you can do and the rest will take care of itself.
